◾ Name of the Course: Post Basic B.Sc in Nursing

◾ Academic Year: 2 academic years starts from July each year

◾ Total Subjects: 17.

◾ The grouping of subjects

◽ Background Science & English -4 subjects

◽ Advanced Clinical Care -06 subjects

◽ Education & Training -03 subjects

◽ Management & Administration - 03 subjects

◽ Nursing Research- 01 subject

◾ Total hours: 1962 in two years course

◾ Medium of Instruction: English

Eligibility criteria for Admission

Applicants who meet the following criteria will be eligible to enter into the course:

◾ The applicants must be registered by Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council.

◾ The applicants must have passed either Diploma in nursing and Diploma in Midwifery /Orthopedic Nursing/Psychiatric nursing or Diploma in Nursing Science & Midwifery.

◾ The applicants (Government) must have minimum 2 years working experiences as Registered nurse /Registered nurse midwife.

◾ Nursing Registration of the applicant must have updated by Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council.

◾ The applicants must have passed the admission test both Public and Private.

◾ The applicants have to appear and qualify in the Admission Test arranged by the College.

◾ Selection Committee selects the students according to the merit.

◾ Foreign students having completed 'A' level can also apply for admission submitting attested photocopy of equivalence certificate collected from Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.
